How Beuta Landscape Edging Is Made

How Beuta Landscape Edging Is Made

Trust is a hard thing to come by these days. With our digital world and fast-moving life, it’s hard to know what’s real and what’s artificial. From the food we buy to the clothes we wear, we want to know the company behind the name.

We also want to know that our hard-earned money is being invested in companies that care about their customers.  Especially ones that are located on American soil.

And speaking of trust, we at Beuta value integrity and transparency with our products. We want our customers to not just purchase our products but know their lifelong value while also knowing exactly how and where they are made.

That’s why we created affordable, and easily accessible Beuta blocks for landscape edging that are known as landscape edging blocks. These products, which are also known as faux edging stones, are lightweight, beautiful, and easy to install for everyone. They were made to simplify landscaping and empower you to achieve your outdoor DIY dreams in a short amount of time.

So that’s why we are highlighting the process and our commitment to the quality and durability of our product because it’s made right here in our warehouse... We’re able to ensure you supreme quality and warranty because these are made in-house and not outsourced to another country or location.

Since these faux stone landscape edgings are one of a kind, we want to share just how these were made and bring you behind the scenes.

But before we do that, we want to share with this one point:

Do you want to know what a major assumption about our products is?

The assumption is that products are made in China, and we are contributing to the use of plastic.

The reality is that this could not be farther from the truth!  Our product is made here by local artisans and professionals.

Let us first tell you exactly who we are and what we do.

All about Beuta

We are Beuta, an Amish-owned landscaping company that is located in the quaint and beautiful city of Lancaster, PA, also known for the Amish community and culture.

With the hardworking and passionate drive inspired by Amish culture, Owner and CEO Merv King helped craft and create a one-of-a-kind product that serves multiple purposes and solves landscaping problems.

If you need to encircle trees with easy edging or create a garden bed

around your vegetables using blocks for garden edging, lining your driveways, or embellishing your landscape plants, Beuta blocks will accomplish this for you!

So, without further ado, let us welcome you into our exclusive tour at Beuta-beyond the edging!

Roto-Molding and how it works

They begin the process using small pellets, similar to hail pebbles. They are then placed in a vacuum which sifts them to a fine powder consistency.

The product is then placed in large tubs where it is weighed and prepped for the molding. The fresh powder is then filled in the molding, using roto-molded construction.

The fine powder is made from poly-resin materials and up to 30% recycled materials. Once the mold is ready, the blocks are finely cleaned, drilled for the holes where the anchoring spikes will eventually go, and are then given a quality check!

This quality check ensures the products will be effective for future customer purposes.

They are then placed back into the mold, to bake in the oven at about 550 degrees!

They bake for about 12 minutes and are constantly rotating, hence the phrase roto-molded construction.

They are then placed in a pre-cooling cycle for about 2 minutes and then go to a full cooling circle for a few more minutes. And that’s how it’s done!

Now, these are beautiful blocks, but they are not for eating! Thankfully, they are food-grade safe for your garden bed as well as young children playing near your newly installed edging.

The Beuta Promise

We are committed to the quality and warranty of our product, which is why we want to share exactly what we make and how we make it. So there’s no room for ambiguity.

We are a small Amish-owned company, in which the workers are mostly Amish as well. We love what we do, and hope you will love the results!

You can feel good knowing where your investments are going, and if you purchase through us, you can rest assured knowing that it benefits local families in American-based communities.
