What is Beuta PolyRock™?
Beuta Faux Stone is now Beuta PolyRock™! For years, you’ve seen us use the term' faux stone' when referring to our unique and one-of-a-kind DIY edging, simply because there wasn’t a better word to describe it. So we came up with our own, something that clearly describes both what it is made of and what it looks like.
The “Poly” in PolyRock™
Beuta blocks are made from High-Density Polyethylene, or HDPE. This material is a versatile, petroleum-derived thermoplastic recognized for its high strength-to-density ratio, tough structure, and chemical resistance. Many common items, like coolers and even kayaks, are made using HDPE and a rotational molding process.
Why PolyRock™?
Just like polylumber, a common decking and outdoor furniture material made from HDPE, we are combining both the material it is made of (poly) and the material aesthetic it is mimicking (rock) to create a word that is new, yet familiar, removing the ambiguity that may be present when using “faux stone”.
So, the only thing that has changed about Beuta is the wording; the manufacturing processes, quality, durability, and color options of our products are just the same as before. We simply have the exciting new term, PolyRock™, to establish our proprietary material blend as an asset to the outdoor materials marketspace.
