Rest assured, Beuta edging is designed to last, even in the face of changing seasons and regular lawn maintenance. To help you keep your investment looking as good as the day you installed it, we’ve created this guide for seasonal care.

Spring Care: Preparing for a New Growing Season

Spring is the season of renewal and the perfect time to refresh your landscaping. Simply inspect your edging for any misalignments caused by winter frost heave. This is pretty uncommon but you can easily adjust sections if necessary to ensure your edges stay smooth and cohesive. Now, we get this question all the time “Can you weed-whack Beuta Blocks?” and the answer is absolutely! Beuta edging is weed-whacker-friendly, Grass clippings from weed-whacking may leave a green tint on the blocks, but a quick wipe with a damp cloth or rinse with the hose will restore their original look.

If you’re adding mulch or soil to your garden beds, brush away debris from the edging to maintain that clean, polished appearance. A little preparation now will set the stage for a beautiful growing season.

Summer Care: Withstanding the Heat

Do Beuta Blocks melt in hot weather? No! Made from durable poly resin and recycled materials, our blocks are designed to withstand extremely hot climates without warping or melting. However, you should not use Beuta to create any structure that puts Beuta in contact with live flame. 

Our edging is designed for moderate foot traffic, like play areas and residential walkways. Beuta can even handle the occasional bump with your car! However, repeated heavy-duty run-ins will increase the risk of damage so be mindful of where you decide to install your Beuta blocks. Areas with high traffic, such as lining a narrow driveway, may not be the best fit for Beuta.

Autumn Care: Embracing Seasonal Shifts

As the leaves begin to fall, autumn is an ideal time to prepare your landscape for winter. Beuta holds strong against raking so feel free to clear away leaves and debris from your edging to keep things looking as crisp as the autumn air feels. Consider adding mulch during this time to help insulate your garden beds!  

Winter Care: Handling Snow and Ice

Can Beuta handle snow? Yes! Snow and ice won’t damage the blocks. If you are removing snow near your edging, avoid direct impact with heavy tools like snowblowers. 

De-icing methods can be used sparingly; while salt won’t harm the blocks themselves, excess buildup could affect the surrounding landscape. In the dormant months, Beuta adds structure and charm to your outdoor space, providing a polished look even under a blanket of snow.
