I had three areas to create borders around plants for, and after much research I selected Beuta, mainly because they are easy to handle (light) and require a minimum of prep work. I just finished installation, and was very pleased with the result. They are extremely easy to install, and the stakes work very well. One thing about the stakes: they tops have a small indent, so that you can use another stake to help drive them down. Very good design. The only problem I had is that some runs were just under 4', around 40" or so, so I had to use start/end blocks, left or right turn blocks, and extender blocks. Because they only stake at the start/end point and the left/right turn blocks, the extender blocks tend to wobble a bit. To help stabilize these, I used 12" heavy duty landscape pins at the joints. The blocks themselves are top-quality, same color/material/pattern all the way through, and quite hard. Now, if your ground isn't really level, the bricks do have some play at the joints, and if the stakes are driven all the way down, things will even out and look very natural. I did minimum leveling, and got very good results. There is still a little bit of play, so if you have material pushing on the edging (such as rock) they might move slightly, so just be aware. Still looks fantastic though. With all the options available, even considering the price, I am very happy with my purchase and result.
